A Tuscaloosa police investigator says three teens accused of breaking into an apartment March 25 and firing shots before a man was killed are suspected gang members.

A University of Alabama football player is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on charges of public intoxication.

The vote came a few days late, but the County Commission unanimously passed a resolution in support of a $14,000 pay increase for the sheriff.
